The Access to Baby and Child Dentistry (ABCD) program puts young children across Washington state on a lifelong path to good oral health. ABCD connects low-income families with dentists who know how to care for young children, focusing on prevention and avoiding tooth decay, as well as educating parents about how to take good care of their children’s teeth.
Who is eligible?
Children from birth up to age six (6) who are insured by Washington Apple Health (Medicaid) are eligible to participate in ABCD.
If you need assistance enrolling your child in Apple Health (Medicaid), go to ParentHelp123.
HCS is is partnering to offer Community Dental Clinics on Orcas and San Juan Island. The Community Dental Clinics serve people on Medicaid or who do not have dental insurance and cannot afford dental care. Stay tuned for 2024 dates to be posted here. Please complete an online application if you would like to be contacted when we have an upcoming dental clinic.
