Maintaining clean and beautiful islands requires thoughtful programs that support waste reduction, recycling, composting, and proper waste disposal, in coordination with others. Oversight

Waste management in the County is overseen by the Solid Waste Advisory Committee, which reviews and guides the activities of the Solid Waste Utility. Members of the committee represent a diversity of interests and Islands.
