San Juan County Parks and Fairgrounds

Please respect private property that borders Park or Land Bank property; obey property boundary signs. Keep dogs leashed and, don't let them wander onto private property.


There is no camping allowed at County Day Parks or on Land Bank property. Day parks are available for daytime activities only; visitors should exit the park prior to darkness. Fires or open flames are not allowed in County Day Parks.

Day Park Rules & Regulations - Thank you for respecting park property

 
 

PARK HOURS ARE 8AM TO DUSK

Loud noises such as vehicle horns and loud music are not allowed. Chainsaws and fireworks are prohibited at all times. 

NO CAMPING.

Day parks are available for daytime activities only; visitors should exit the park prior to darkness.

NO FIRES.

 No fires or open flames are allowed in any County Day Park. Fires are allowed only in fire rings provided in our camping parks, unless under a burn ban.

PARKING ALLOWED IN DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS ONLY.

NO EQUIPMENT SET-UP

including, but not limited to a tent/awning, volleyball net, croquet set, or event table and chairs, as this may create hazards for other park users.

PETS MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES!

Owners are responsible for pet waste clean up. Owners of dangerous or disturbing animals (especially barking dogs) may be asked to remove pet(s) from the Park.



CHASING OR HARASSING WILDLIFE IN ANY WAY IS PROHIBITED.

Turkeys, rabbits, deer, foxes, raccoon, seals and otters are best viewed from a distance as to not disturb them.

PATHS ARE FOR FOOT TRAFFIC

ONLY.

 Skating and bicycle, skateboard, and moped riding is allowed on park roads only and is prohibited in all other areas.

NO CLIFF CLIMBING.

The cliffs in the Parks are not stable and climbing can create rockslides and potential hazards.

NO FIREWOOD OR DRIFTWOOD GATHERING.
