SAN JUAN COUNTY, WA. September 22, 2023 – Last week we celebrated the Autumn Equinox, a signal that our daylight hours are waning. It also signals seasonal changes to public access at your Conservation Land Bank’s Zylstra Lake and Mount Grant Preserves on San Juan Island.

KidsOnBench_MtGrantBeginning October 1 and running through March 31, dogs are not allowed at Zylstra Lake Preserve and the eastern portion of the loop trail is closed to the public to protect overwintering waterfowl. At Mount Grant Preserve, driving access to the summit switches to Sundays only, from 10am to 4pm.TrailClosedSign_Zylstra
