Tom Snowden joined the Parks Department in 2013 as a part-time seasonal field staff while hunting for a job related to his degree in archaeology. That job never appeared, but he gradually came to love park work and 9 years later he happily took on the role of assistant manager for Lopez Island Parks. When off the clock he can be found paddling his kayak or walking the trails camera in hand… or at home curled up with a good book and a hot cup of tea.
