Immunizations

Immunizations are a simple and effective method to prevent certain diseases which may cause serious health problems. We provide:

  • Regular childhood immunizations through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program.
  • Adult immunizations for uninsured adults through the Adult Vaccine Program (AVP).
  • Vaccine education, information, consultation, and support for schools, preschools, and childcare.

Immunizations: West Coast Health Alliance

In the fall of 2025, Washington state joined Oregon, California, and Hawaii to form a new West Coast Health Alliance in response to developments at the federal level and at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding public health and immunizations. The four-state alliance is intended to help ensure our state's public health policies and strategies are informed by science and evidence-based recommendations.
