San Juan County's Transportation Voucher Program (TVP) has been funded for the fourth time, securing operating funds through 2027. As of spring 2026, all regular voucher funds are allocated. The program will not approve new applications until July 1, 2026, when 200 additional regular vouchers will be released. Medical/emergency voucher applications will continue to be accepted and reviewed for approval as long as allocated funding lasts.
The TVP is a unique public/private transportation program matching eligible San Juan County community members with participating local transportation providers. Providers include taxi companies, ferry fares, and water taxis.
